# Initiation

**Cult of Pump** is a memetic coordination system built on top of social growth.

Every new follower is not just attention.\
It is an onchain event.

Each time someone joins the Cult on X:

* A **new token is deployed on pump.fun**
* The token declares:\
  \&#xNAN;**“\<username> has joined the Cult”**
* That token is permanently linked to:
  * The follower’s X account
  * The Cult itself
